What is Gwinear Gwithian Sustainable Community Fund?

Gwinear Gwithian Sustainable Community Fund is an independent charity set up to promote sustainable development for the benefit of the communities within the Parish of Gwinear-Gwithian. To find out more about how we do this through our grants scheme please click here.

The fund is for the benefit of the Community

Any not for profit organisation working for the benefit of people in the eligible geographical area can apply. We do not accept applications from those whose sole purpose is political or religious.

We support a variety of projects including:

  • Registered charities
  • Voluntary Groups
  • Community Groups
  • Clubs
  • Friends Associations


Preference will be given to first time applicants, and projects that:

  • Involve young people;
  • promote social inclusion;
  • demonstrate innovation or best practice;
  • lever in contributions from other sources;
  • add value or new dimensions to existing sustainability projects; and/or
  • have little access to alternative public funding; and/or
  • bring organisations or communities together to tackle problems or promote new ideas

FUNDING ROUND DEADLINE

The next funding round deadline is 30th November 2023.
