£3,000 awarded for Hayle Memory Café Activities.  The funds allowed the volunteers to be creative in planning future sessions and was used to pay for a variety of entertainers, craft materials and some reusable items. Those attending have benefited for remaining in the same venue which is important for people with memory problems and for mobility access.  Seeing people go home with a big smile on their faces is rewarding.  Carers say that the sense of well being continues at home even if they cannot remember what they have done.  Carers are able to relax, have a chat and know their loved ones are safe.  Numbers are increasing with 60 people attending at Christmas.
